Hello!
I'm Alejandro Gómez, an Art Director with over 20 years of experience in illustration and motion.
I'm Alejandro Gómez, an Art Director with over 20 years of experience in illustration and motion.
For the last 20 years I've been helping agencies, studios and organizations communicate ideas visually. Sometimes that means building an illustration system. Sometimes it's directing an animation film. Sometimes it's finding the right visual language for a campaign.
I don't believe in applying the same style to every project. Every brief asks for something different, so every project starts with the same question:
What's the best visual language for this idea?
That question has taken me from editorial illustration and brand campaigns to animated films and communication systems for clients including Mercedes-Benz, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Caritas and Daimler.
Originally from Argentina, after several years in Germany I'm now based in Galicia, Spain, collaborating remotely with clients around the world.
Collaborations:
Shini Park, Studio Brot, Bearded Fellows, Leo Burnett, Aktiva, Von Helden und Gestalten, Lighting and Thunder, Superjuju, Remolino, and many more.
Selected clients:
Mercedes-Benz · Discovery Channel · National Geographic · Coca-Cola · Daimler · Animal Planet · FOX · Motorola · Bilfinger · Bauknecht · Ottobock · Caritas · KUKA · YPF · GEZE · Interstuhl · Startup BW · Auto Motor und Sport · and others.
Have a project in mind?

1. What kind of projects do you usually work on?
Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with agencies, studios and in-house creative teams at different stages of production. Whether you need illustration, motion design or art direction, I can integrate into your existing workflow.
8. Do you work remotely?
Yes. I'm based in Galicia, Spain, and collaborate remotely with agencies, studios and organizations around the world. Most of my work is done remotely, often as part of distributed creative teams.
1. What kind of projects do you usually work on?
I collaborate with agencies, brands and organizations on projects that require a distinctive visual language. My work ranges from illustration systems and explainer films to brand campaigns, editorial communication and motion design.
2. How does the process for an animation project usually work?Every project starts with a conversation. Before jumping into visuals, we define the goals, audience, timeline and creative direction. Once the concept is approved, I move into design, animation and sound, sharing progress throughout the process to make sure every decision stays aligned with the project.
3. What is an illustration system?
Illustrations rarely live on their own. They appear in presentations, websites, campaigns, reports and social media. An Illustration System makes sure they all feel like they belong together. It's about creating a visual language, not just individual illustrations.

4. Why do you work in different visual styles?
Every project deserves its own visual language. I don't believe in applying the same style to every brief. Instead, I develop the visual approach that best fits the idea, the audience and the context. The result is work that feels distinctive because it's designed specifically for that project.

5. Can you work with an existing brand identity?
Of course. Whether you already have an established brand or you're starting from scratch, I can develop illustration systems and motion that integrate naturally with your existing visual language.

6. Do you work only on illustration and motion projects?
Not necessarily. I often collaborate as an Art Director from the early stages of a project, helping shape the visual language before any illustration or animation begins.
