Mach dich stark
This is one of my favourite projects that I was involved. The task was to create 11 illustrations in which inequity in children can be described. A problematic that is increasing in Southern Germany.
The style I have chosen is bright, colorful, playful and imaginative, like a children's book illustrations.

The campaign
The Mach Dich Stark campaign raises awareness of child poverty and social inequality, encouraging people to support families facing difficult circumstances. Each illustration addresses a different aspect of child poverty through visual metaphors.
The process
The process was relatively straightforward, but the challenge was conceptual rather than technical: how do you illustrate child poverty without showing hardship in a literal way or reinforcing stereotypes? The answer was to focus on everyday experiences, such as access to education, sports, healthy food, and safe spaces, using playful visual metaphors instead of dramatic scenes.
