Creative Approach
Rather than emphasizing the harshness of the topic, I chose a bright, playful and imaginative visual language inspired by children's books. This contrast helped make the subject approachable while reinforcing that every child deserves a safe, joyful and hopeful future.

The campaign
The Mach Dich Stark campaign raises awareness of child poverty and social inequality, encouraging people to support families facing difficult circumstances. Each illustration addresses a different aspect of child poverty through visual metaphors.
The process
The process was relatively straightforward, but the challenge was conceptual rather than technical: how do you illustrate child poverty without showing hardship in a literal way or reinforcing stereotypes? The answer was to focus on everyday experiences, such as access to education, sports, healthy food, and safe spaces, using playful visual metaphors instead of dramatic scenes.
